This course is delivered online, via pre-recorded content. There are 19 lessons in total, and 4 hours worth of content. This course does not include any live teaching or webinars. However if you chose to add on the portfolio review you will receive a portfolio review at the end of the self serve part of the course.
You have 1 year to complete this course, from the date of enrollment.
This course offers insights into the Publishing, Greeting Card, Licensing and Editorial & Advertising markets. The video content is made up of real-life artist portfolio reviews covering these areas specifically: Picture Books, Board Books, Non-Fiction, Middle Grade, Licensing, Greeting Cards and Editorial. We have additional content within the syllabus which is relevant for all illustrators.
There are two ways to purchase this course; Option 1. Course only which costs $99. Option 2. Course + Portfolio Review, which costs $175. If you choose option 1, you will only have access to the online content. However there is the option to upgrade and purchase the course with a portfolio review before you check out. If you have purchased the course only, and decide later on that you wish to have a portfolio review, you can purchase this independently with ITSme. No, there are no formal assignments to complete within this course. However, you are welcome to take your own notes as you work through the program, to help in your development.
